 For balloon catheter applications, high-pressure tubing is manufactured with specialized processes for maintaining high purity and reduced gels so that the thinnest possible wall thickness can be obtained during the balloon-forming process. Various materials are available to meet your design requirements for flexibility and kink resistance.

For specific applications, specialty coextruded high-pressure tubing is available that maintains pressure through an inner liner material with high tensile strength joined to an outer layer of rugged, durable material that offers greater flexibility and kink resistance.

For space-critical applications, polyimide tubing may be added as a composite material combined with braid or coil reinforcement as a variety of thermoplastic jacket materials for designs that require high-pressure tubing with thin walls.
